Celebrations · Bridal and baby showers
A shower in a room you are not sharing
A bridal or baby shower venue ten minutes from Steinbach and forty-five from Winnipeg. A weekday is $500 — seven in the morning to midnight, the whole building, with the tables, the chairs, the dishes and the kitchen already in it.
$500 gets you the entire hall from seven in the morning until midnight — not a corner of a restaurant with another party at the next table and a two-hour clock running behind you.
Tables, chairs, dishes and cutlery are already in the building and so is the kitchen, and there is nobody here selling food, so there is no minimum to reach and no corkage. Bring the cake, bring the sandwiches, bring a caterer if you would rather not cook. Nobody here sets the room or decorates it, and that is the trade: you carry the cloths and the flowers in yourself, and in exchange the place is yours from breakfast to midnight. We are not in Winnipeg — we are forty-five minutes out of it — and the parking and the privacy are what people drive out here for.

Three things worth knowing about a shower here
One rate, and it is the whole day
There is no half-day and no hourly block: $500 Monday to Thursday buys 7 AM to midnight, which is the same building on the same terms a wedding gets. A two-hour shower with a morning to set up in and an afternoon to clear out of is a different afternoon from a two-hour booking.
The room does not divide
One open rectangle with a vaulted ceiling, built for two hundred. Thirty people in the middle of it look like thirty people in a hall. Set at the kitchen end on long tables it reads much smaller — and since you are the one setting it, that is worth deciding in advance rather than at ten in the morning.
The decorating is yours
We do not set rooms, we do not decorate and we have no decor to rent. Nothing goes up with tape, staples, pins or tacks; beyond that the room is plain enough to take whatever you bring. Having the building from seven means nobody is hanging bunting while the first guests park.
For linens, a backdrop or centrepieces, Let’s Celebrate Rentals hires out what we do not have. And if you are comparing us with two or three other halls, the questions that actually separate them — what the clock does, who cleans, what the deposit is for — are listed in the guide to questions to ask a venue.
What it costs
The rates, and the two lines a shower usually adds
The room is $500 Monday to Thursday, $1,000 on a Friday or Sunday and $1,250 on a Saturday, each of them 7 AM to midnight. Everything below sits on top of that and none of it is compulsory — a shower that takes the bare room, brings its own cloths and washes forty cups is a completely normal booking here.
Weekday, Monday to Thursday
The whole building, 7 AM to midnight, for five hundred dollars. Seminars, fowl suppers, showers, funeral lunches, reunions and AGMs all book this one.
$500
Friday or Sunday
The same hall and the same hours as a Saturday, two hundred and fifty dollars less. Sunday afternoons get the west light off the field.
$1,000
Saturday
7 AM to midnight on the busiest day of the week. Room for 200, with 180 sitting down comfortably for a plated supper.
$1,250
Coffee & Tea Service
Urn coffee, tea, cream and sugar topped up from your first guest to your last, with a thermos left on each table. Around here the coffee runs out before the food does.
$2.75/ guest
After-Event Cleaning
Floors, kitchen, washrooms and bins the morning after. Without it the hall has to be left as you found it — which on a wedding night means somebody's uncle mopping at two in the morning.
$250
One rate buys the whole building from 7 AM to midnight. Anything below it is something you add on top. Every rate we charge is on the pricing page, and there is nothing else.
Added up
Forty guests on a weekday afternoon
The whole hall for the day, the urns going from the first guest to the last, and nothing else added.
| Weekday hall rental, 7 AM to midnight | $500 |
|---|---|
| Coffee & tea, 40 × $2.75 | $110 |
| Subtotal | $610 |
| GST 5% | $30.50 |
| Total | $640.50 |
That is about $16 a head for the venue, on 40 guests.
The bare room with nothing added at all is $500 plus GST — $525 — and plenty of people book it exactly that way. After-event cleaning is $250 if you would rather not sweep, though at forty people most parties do it themselves before they leave. Cake, food, drink and the decorating are yours.

Questions
How long do we get the room for?
From 7 in the morning until midnight. There is one rate and it buys the whole building for the whole day — there are no half-days here and no hourly blocks. Most showers run two to three hours once everyone is in, so the rest of it is yours for carrying things in, setting up unhurried and clearing out without anybody standing over you.
Can we do it on a Saturday?
You can, at $1,250. A Friday or Sunday is $1,000 and a weekday is $500, for the same room and the same hours. Saturdays also go to weddings twelve to eighteen months out, so for a shower a weekday afternoon is usually both cheaper and far easier to get.
Can we bring our own food and the cake?
Yes, and there is no approved list to book from. There is no in-house catering here at all and no food and beverage minimum, so the kitchen is yours: two fridges, a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker and a commercial dishwasher that runs a two-minute wash and rinse. Dishes and cutlery for the full room are included.
Do you set the room up or decorate it?
No, and we have nothing to rent you either. You get the building, the tables and chairs, the dishes and the kitchen, and the whole day to put it together however you want. The one rule is that nothing goes up with tape, staples, pins or tacks — freestanding is fine, and so is anything on the tables. If you want it dressed properly, Let's Celebrate Rentals hires out linens, backdrops and centrepieces.
Is the hall too big for thirty people?
It might be, and it does not divide — it is one open rectangle built for two hundred. Thirty people spread across the middle of it will feel like thirty people in a hall. Set at the kitchen end with long tables it reads as a much smaller room, so it is worth deciding the layout before the morning rather than on it.
Is there somewhere closer to Winnipeg?
Almost certainly, and we are not going to pretend forty-five minutes is nothing. What the drive buys is the whole building for $500, all day, rather than a corner of a restaurant — parking that is never the problem, and no two-hour clock running while you open presents. If the drive is the deciding factor, it should be.

Put in the date and the number of guests and the quote builder itemises it, adds the GST and emails you the result — which is the easy thing to forward to whoever is splitting the cost.
