Niverville · 30 minutes
Booking from Niverville? Book a Friday.
Thirty minutes east, and the same room costs two hundred and fifty dollars less on a Friday than on a Saturday. What we get asked for from Niverville is nearly always a shower, a social or a first wedding — and none of those three have to be on a Saturday.
The hall is about thirty minutes east of Niverville, and the most useful thing we can tell you before you ring is that the price here moves with the day of the week far more than with anything you decide to do inside the room.
A Saturday is $1,250. The identical building on a Friday or a Sunday is $1,000. Monday to Thursday is $500. Nothing changes between those numbers: same two hundred chairs, same kitchen, same gazebo, same seven in the morning to midnight, same option to hold it to one.
That matters more for a shower or a social than it does for a wedding, because those are precisely the events with no reason to be on a Saturday. A bridal shower on a Wednesday afternoon is a $500 booking for the whole building. If you are looking at wedding venues from Niverville, the same advice holds with a bigger number attached — the Friday room is the Saturday room.

The drive
Getting here from Niverville
East on 311
Out of Niverville and east. This is most of the trip, and it is flat, straight and quick.
South toward Steinbach
You are heading down the Steinbach side. Landmark sits on this route and is the same drive, about twenty-five minutes.
West on to Road 32 East
Road 32 East runs below Steinbach. The hall is on the north side, set back off the road, with the parking lot in front of it. 31085 Rd 32 East.
Twenty-five to thirty minutes on good road the whole way, with no city driving in any of it — which is the part that matters when half your guests are bringing a cake, a gift table or a grandmother.

Dishes and cutlery for the full room are in the rental. Putting them on the tables is yours — we hand the building over, we do not set it.
What Niverville rings about
Showers, socials, and the first big one
A shower on a weekday
$500 buys the whole building Monday to Thursday, seven in the morning to midnight, with full kitchen access. Rounds of eight or one long table down the middle is your decision and your afternoon — we do not set rooms and we do not decorate them, which is also why nobody is hurrying you out at four.
A social that has to clear its costs
Published prices mean you can work out your break-even before you print a ticket. A Friday is $1,000 for the building to midnight, another $200 holds it to one, and the rolling bar is $80 for the day. The permit and the stock are yours, and so is every dollar over the bar.
A first wedding, on a Friday
No first wedding budget survives a Saturday rate plus a caterer you are not allowed to choose. A Friday is $1,000 for the same room and the same gazebo, you bring whoever is cooking, and $500 holds the date.
The day is the price
What it costs, by the day you take
CAD, before 5% GST. The room does not change between these lines — only the day does.
Hall rental
Weekday, Monday to Thursday
The whole building, 7 AM to midnight, for five hundred dollars. Seminars, fowl suppers, showers, funeral lunches, reunions and AGMs all book this one.
$500
Friday or Sunday
The same hall and the same hours as a Saturday, two hundred and fifty dollars less. Sunday afternoons get the west light off the field.
$1,000
Saturday
7 AM to midnight on the busiest day of the week. Room for 200, with 180 sitting down comfortably for a plated supper.
$1,250
The add-ons a shower or a social usually takes
Bar
The rolling bar, wheeled out to wherever you want it and backed onto the kitchen pass-through so whoever is pouring is not cut off from the room. You bring the drinks and the permit.
$80/ day
Stage
A raised platform for the band, the DJ, the head table or the speeches — worth it the moment you have 180 people sitting down and somebody at the back who needs to see.
$80/ day
Projector, Screen & PA System
Ceiling projector, drop-down screen, a wireless handheld mic, and house sound over 3.5 mm or Bluetooth. The line every seminar, AGM and slideshow-at-a-memorial adds.
$125
After-Event Cleaning
Floors, kitchen, washrooms and bins the morning after. Without it the hall has to be left as you found it — which on a wedding night means somebody's uncle mopping at two in the morning.
$250
Coffee & Tea Service
Urn coffee, tea, cream and sugar topped up from your first guest to your last, with a thermos left on each table. Around here the coffee runs out before the food does.
$2.75/ guest
An add-on sits on top of a hall rental, never instead of it, and nothing here is bundled in unless you ask. The late-night extension and the late-night coffee and squares are on the pricing page with the rest.
A worked example
A bridal shower for 40, on a Wednesday
Small, midweek, and the reason the weekday rate is worth a thirty-minute drive. The room is yours from seven in the morning, so there is no hurry about setting it, and the kitchen is open for whoever is bringing the food.
| Weekday full day — 7 AM to midnight | $500 |
|---|---|
| Coffee & tea service, 40 × $2.75 | $110 |
| Subtotal | $610 |
| GST 5% | $30.50 |
| Total | $640.50 |
That is the entire bill for the room: the whole building for the day, the kitchen yours for the afternoon, and the urns filled and kept going. The tables and chairs are in the building and where they end up is your decision, because setting the room is not something we do. The same afternoon on a Saturday starts at $1,250 instead.
Before you ring
Questions
Is a Friday really cheaper than a Saturday?
Yes. $1,000 against $1,250 for the identical building, identical hours and identical everything else. If your date can move at all, that is the largest single saving available to you here — and a Monday to Thursday date is $750 off a Saturday for the same room.
Is there a half-day rate for a shower?
No. There is one rate for the day and it buys the whole building, seven in the morning to midnight — Monday to Thursday that is $500. The kitchen comes with it either way: two fridges, a commercial dishwasher that runs a two-minute wash and rinse, a stove, a microwave, the coffee maker and the serving thermos. A two-hour shower pays the same as a twelve-hour one, which is worth knowing before you compare us with a room let by the hour.
We are running a social. Can we sell tickets and sell drinks?
You can, but the permit is yours to hold. It is a Social Occasion Liquor Permit from the LGCA and which type you need depends on whether you are selling drinks or serving them free — we will tell you which one, and you apply yourself at least four weeks ahead. We do not sell alcohol and we take no share of what you do.
How far ahead do we need to book a Friday?
Much less far ahead than a Saturday. Summer Saturdays go twelve to eighteen months out; Fridays and midweek dates are often still open inside six months. A $500 damage deposit holds whichever you pick and comes back within two to three weeks afterwards if the building is undamaged.
Thirty minutes for a two-hour shower — is that daft?
Sometimes, and we would rather say so. It makes sense when the guest list has outgrown a house, when you want a kitchen and somewhere to put a hundred and fifty plates, or when the family is coming from this direction anyway. For eight people around a table it does not, and no price we could quote would change that.
Try two dates in the quote builder and watch the number move.
Put in a Saturday, then put in the Friday before it. The arithmetic makes the argument better than we can.
